Mr. Blanco is an experienced litigator with more than twenty (20) years of trial experience. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Blanco served as a field litigation attorney for CIGNA Insurance Company's Detroit-area office. In that capacity, Mr. Blanco handled wrongful death claims and cases involving motor vehicles, premises liability, product liability, commercial litigation, with an area of concentration in Emergency Medical Services and medical malpractice.

In 1995, Mr. Blanco founded Blanco & Associates, P.C. (now known as Blanco Wilczynski, P.C.) specializing in the representation of transportation groups, insurers and Emergency Medical Service providers and Health Care providers.

In 2001, Mr. Blanco became regional counsel for the Eastern District of American Medical Response Ambulance Company National Counsel, and is responsible for supervising litigation in the Eastern region consisting of 27 states in the southeast and eastern United States.

Mr. Blanco's current practice focuses on representing specialty insurers and policyholders and self-insured clients, including paramedic and ambulance liability defense, automobile liability defense, car rental companies, and related insurance coverage matters.

An accomplished litigator, Mr. Blanco has been a lecturer at a variety of conferences and conventions, including "Products Liability in the U.S." ICEX (Institute of Foreign Exporters of Spain), Barcelona, Spain, 1989; "Defending Premises Liability Cases", ATLA Annual Convention, Chicago, Illinois, 1994; "Products Liability Cases", ICEX Barcelona, Spain 1995; "Documenting the EMS Run", Michigan Ambulance Association, EMS Convention, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1996; "Litigation: When Your Best is Challenged," American Ambulance Association 1996 Annual Conference & Trade Show, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1996; and "EMS: Michigan Law," EMS Expo., Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1997. Mr. Blanco is admitted to practice in Michigan and Florida. He is a member of Defense Research Institute, Defense Trial Lawyers Association, and Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Blanco has been appointed as Master of the Oakland County Bar Association's 2003-2004 Inn of Court whose mission is: To foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills for judges, lawyers, academicians, and students of the law in order to perfect the quality, availability and efficiency of justice in Oakland County.

In 1982, Mr. Blanco earned his juris doctor from Wayne State University School of Law and received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from University of Michigan in 1979. Mr. Blanco is fluent in French and Spanish.
